Frequently asked questions
Can you rush my order or do overnight delivery?
I don't do anything overnight delivery. I might be able to do priority express in the U.S. (one to two day delivery) for certain items, but it's expensive and I don't guarantee delivery times since that's out of my control. If you need something fast please contact me before placing the order, or I may have to cancel if I can't fill it within the time frame you need it.
Shipping Policy
Returns accepted within 7 days of receiving your package on most items. If we are at fault, a full refund will be issued. Otherwise, a restocking fee of 15% and the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount. If your item was shipped with free shipping, the actual cost of the original shipping label won't be refunded. Goods received in unsalable condition will not be credited. Open packages may be considered unsalable.
Please contact us prior to shipping any items back for a refund.
How long will it take for me to get my order?
All "ships free" orders will be sent first class unless the weight calls for priority, or the customer chooses to pay for the priority upgrade when they purchase.
Etsy provides estimated delivery dates at checkout, depending on the type of mail service you select. THESE ARE ESTIMATES AND ARE NOT GUARANTEED!!! I can't emphasize this enough, if you have less than a week before you need the item for US customers, or less than three or even four weeks for international customers, DO NOT ORDER unless you're willing to take a chance on the estimates being correct. The post office does not guarantee delivery dates, and it's totally out of my control. I don't guarantee that anything will be received on specific dates.
My package is marked delivered by the post office, but I don't have it! Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, if the post office marks the package as delivered, I have to take that as proof of delivery, and refunds will not be available unless a police report for stolen mail is filed. It's the customer's responsibility to provide a secure delivery location.
If this does happen, check with anyone who may have picked up the package and brought it in. After that, check with neighbors, or look around your house to see if the mail carrier left it in an inconspicuous area. After that, check with the post office in person to get the GPS reading from the delivery scan. In the case of stolen packages, you should file a stolen package report with the police and the post office so that they can track patterns of theft in your area.

I try to answer all questions by the next business day during the hours of 7AM - 3PM EST. If you ask a question on a non-business day (weekends, holidays), it will be answered on the next business day. Thank you for your understanding.
Do the wooden craft parts need sanding?
The unfinished wooden craft parts come off the machinery semi-smooth which is usually acceptable for staining or painting but it you want a smoother surface, you can sand with a high grit sandpaper such as 150 or 220 grit which is available at most hardware stores.
